When I look at the volleyball courts in our community, I want our girls to see themselves reflected in the game. That is why I am passionately dedicated to bringing volleyball exposure to girls in southeast Raleigh. I know how much this sport can do for a young girl’s self-esteem, especially if she is naturally quiet or shy. I created GLOWTORIOUS Girls to be a warm, uplifting sanctuary where melanated girls are gently guided into the sport, given a head start in their athletic journeys, and reminded every single day of how brightly they can shine✨🏐

My volleyball journey began right here in Raleigh, North Carolina, on the courts of Millbrook High School—the very same school where I now have the privilege of coaching. During my time playing here, I was blessed to become a State Champion and the State Championship MVP. Those unforgettable moments opened the door to a full-ride athletic scholarship to play Division I volleyball at North Carolina A&T State University.
Coming full circle to coach at my alma mater is incredibly meaningful to me, but my true purpose goes far deeper than my own trophies or the scoreboard.
I am on a passionate crusade to bring this beautiful game to Black girls on the Southside. For too long, melanated girls have lacked early exposure and access to the world of volleyball. I am here to change that.
GLOWTORIOUS Girls was born out of a desire to create a warm, uplifting sanctuary and a supportive sisterhood where our girls are celebrated from the moment they step onto the court. I specialize in gently introducing 8-12-year-old beginners to the sport, ensuring they feel safe, seen, and nurtured every single step of the way.
This game gave me my education, my identity, my health, and my confidence. Now, my mission is to pass that life-changing gift down to your daughter. Together, we will help her step out of her shell, overcome shyness, build a healthy lifestyle, and realize just how brightly she is meant to shine.

Volleyball changed my life right here in Raleigh. Now, I am on a mission to open that same door for the next generation of melanated girls. My heart is on the Southside, introducing young Black girls to a sport that builds their health, breaks through shyness, and gives them early exposure to a game they can thrive in. Together, we are building a supportive sisterhood where every girl is seen, celebrated, and empowered to grow.
